Nice, Franace

I’m finally in Nice! And I finally got my laptop connected to the Internet.

I love this city! For me as an artistic person it’s  a really good place for  inspiration!( I’ll post more photos later. ) And off course the temperature is lovely, people are friendly and the food is delicious. I’m staying at a beautiful hotel on a dorm/shared room with two other girls. I think it’s a really good way to meet other people, especially when traveling alone.

Now I’m off to the beach. Life is good. Bye.

Sorry for not posting anything lately. But our Internet connection broke down. Now I’m actually at Burger King, just to use their free WiFi.  Today it’s only 3 days till I’m in Nice. (If the ashes will be good to me).

For those of you who don’t know, I’m gonna try to find a job there and live there for a while.  France. Ah, I can’t wait. And, yes, I’m going all by myself. And, yes, I’m absolutely gonna blog you everything about it. So hang in there. France next.

Back in town

And then I’m back in Oslo again. Back with my two wonderful roommates and my fantastic bed. Tonight some friends are coming over. We’re gonna party. Yay. And later, hopefully, I’m gonna see my boyfriend again. Yay.

But first, I’ve got to tide this place up a bit. And figure out what to wear.  And make some food. And, and, and…So much to do! So little time.

Bags packed

I’ve spent some days at my parents house, near Kristiansand. Now my bags are packed and tomorrow morning I’m headed to Oslo. I have to bring everything I’ll need in France now, and leave everything else behind.

One bag, 76 liters, maximum 20 kg, is gonna carry all my possessions for the next few months. I’ve been a backpacker before, so actually, that wont be a problem. I can’t wait to travel again. Once a backpacker, always a backpacker!?

Next sunday I’m off! Wish me luck!

Yes, I’m a night person. All my best essays from high school were written in the darkest hours of the night.  I guess it’s the peace that makes it so good for work. And ideas! I always get my best, or craziest, ideas at night. Like moving to France. Or cutting my hair really, really short.

One thing is certain, my most creative moments as an artist or designer has been in the middle of the night. Why can’t I be a 9-5 working girl? Are there others like me out there?

I guess every artist has to be a bit weird. Well, let’s see what this night will bring me. Bonne nuit!

Carpe diem – Seize the day!

Today: I’ve started packing my bags for Nice. Ah France, I can’t wait. 10 days to go.

It’s hard fitting your whole life into a 20kg bag. Especially when you love clothes, shoes and accessories so much. What can I leave at home? What is worthy living with me in Nice?  (Oh yeah, we have some really important issues in this world.)

I’ll take some wardrobe photos when I get a camera. Hopefully, I’m going to borrow one from my boyfriend in short time. See ya!
